A small but wonderfull place in the mountains. On your way up you might doubt the road will ever end. Turn after turn. When you arrive you sit down and start to enjoy this hidden treasure.

Small but truly delightful restaurant where you will find mouth-watering tasty dishes. The atmosphere of the place has something ancient and a family flavour!I strongly recommend it to those who still know how to appreciate the sweet and slow pace of the mountains! The restaurant is located in the very small Borgo di Glori which I am sure will enchant you with its narrow streets and its open-hearted inhabitants!

L’Oste e La Strega is a wonderful osteria in a location that cannot be equaled. Glori (tiny fraz. of Molini di Triora) is perched on a sunny peninsula in western Liguria, high above the green green Argentina River valley, with a view down to the Mediterranean. Our lunch there today, in the tiny sunny piazza, was sooooo delicious. My homemade pasta was a type particular to Realdo, a tiny cliffside town even higher up the valley, nearly at the French border. The sauce, gorgonzola and radicchio, was splendid. A special secondo was prepared for us, as vegetarians: local cheese, typical ligurian greens cooked with taggiasca olives, and a kind of frittata. Everything was delicious and presented beautifully, with a half liter of local red wine to drink. Kids played in the piazza. Gianluca rang the church bells in concert, as he does at noon on weekends and for festas. It was glorious! Congratulations to the young hosts, Sara and Vincenzo!!

Somewhere in the middle of nowhere, such a beautiful and nice place, where people cook with love from their own region. The owners really want to make you happy. On Sunday lunch, 3 starters, 2 primis, secondi and a tasting dessert. For only 30 euros pp. And so delicious! Thank you!

We ate original dishes cooked with care; The beers available are also excellent, many of which are bottom-fermented. We also appreciated the dessert to take away for breakfast. The village is delightful, well kept and pleasant to visit, you can even take a short walk to the Sanctuary.

What a fantastic place! The food was fantastic and the view of the mountains was incredible. We even got to see the sea!If you like peace and quiet, you'll love it there. It's a motor-free village. It was the first time on our journey where the children could play and run around between meals, totally relaxed. I'd highly recommend this place for a half-day trip.I'd like to thank the restaurant for a great evening.
